Bahamas- The Tiger shark !
.

Well no one ever said that marine photography was not without some risk. While on myl pilgramage to the Bahamas on the "Shear water" for my fix of dolphin and shark encounters, I had one that maybe was a bit to close for confort. one morning a beutiful 14 foot tiger shark was spotted cruising the back of the boat but was very shy and would not come within range of the divers waiting below on scuba. After an hour of so of waiting I decided that I would try and just snorkle near the bait on the 100 foot line trailed behind the boat to try and get a closer shot without the tiger shying away. Well the tiger definatly got close! Thanks to fellow photographer and good friend Kelly Bracken for getting the above water action shot! My underwater shots did not turn out anywhere near as well as I was in survival mode! Thanks again Kelly for a wild moment caught on film.
